In every landscape, there are Revival Statues, the Alpha version and Steam version use them differently.

In the Alpha Version, the player automatically can spawn at any near by Revival Statute, even if they didn't know it was there. The player is never teleported too far away from where they were in the Alpha Version.

In the Steam Version, the player must play a flute to a revival point in order to use it. Without playing a song to a statue as you travel, the player could be sent very far back upon death.

  • The flute that activates the revival statue is automatically on the player, this flute is not to be confused with the Sky Whistle.

Types of Landscapes[ | ]

Each landscape exhibits a variety of random terrain features, there can be a volcano in the snow and an enchanted forest in the desert.

In the Steam Version, Oceans are considered easy biomes and seem to lack underwater monsters.

In the Alpha Version, there are much more ocean monsters available.

  • Unlike the Steam Version, Alpha Version players can hold their breath forever.

Terrain Info[ | ]

Deserts are barren and lack vegetation however an occasional oasis and forest will still exist. Cactus can be found in the Desert and can be used to make Cactus Potion.

Snowlands are considered a slow biome due to cold water actively reducing movement speed, even the boat does not protect the player from the cold water.

For Steam players, Drinking a Hot Chocolate will help the player navigate through cold water for this area.

  • Important note that Alpha players are unaffected by cold water.

Deadlands and Dark Woods are abundantly inhabited by the undead, these areas are dark in the day and even darker at night. Monsters like the Skull Slater are bio luminescent and will glow at night. Not only that, but rivers are toxic and poison any player that falls in.

For Steam players, Drinking a fresh Green Smoothie will help the player navigate through toxic bodies of water for this area.

Lava Lands are a difficult landscape as it is usually over-ran with groups of legendary tier enemies. Not only that, but rivers of lava impair most players from easy travel. Lava Lands are extremely dark at night due to blackened charred terrain.

For Steam players, Drinking a Fresh Lemonade will help the player navigate through lava for this area.

Area Difficulty[ | ]

In Alpha Version, landscape levels increase the further they are from the initial character starting position.

In Steam Version, each region is has it's own regular and legendary enemies for the player to upgrade equipment from before they leave to a new region.

There can be multiple Villages in one region.

Special flora exists such as Giant Tree and Giant Rock, which also bare a resemblance to the Mana Tree.

Region Lock[ | ]

Exclusive to the Steam Version, Armor, Weapons and Key Items are locked to a region.

Armor and weapons become weak outside of their region. Key Items like the Divine Harp will not work outside of their region.

An item found in Coria Plains will be available in the Coria Plains, but not any region outside of it.

A "Plus" item is denoted by a + after the name and allow the player to use that specific item in +1 regions near by.

These specially marked items work at their normal strength in the regions bordering their discovered region.

Each region has its own inventory, you can view the inventory for other regions by clicking the arrows at the bottom of the main inventory.
