The Aim skill's icon.

Aim is the Ranger's third skill, able to be learned only by the Sniper specialisation and not the Scout. Five points need to be put into Retreat to be able to learn Aim.

Uses[ | ]

The Aim skill places the Player in a prone position in order to slowly enter a stealth mode. This stealth charging is very similar to the Rogue's - where a purple bar will appear on the screen and slowly charge up, filling to the right. As this bar nears completion the Player will quickly start to regenerate their Mana Points, allowing them to somewhat consistently use their secondary attack. When in stealth mode, the Player will also incur increased damage and critical strike chance bonuses, allowing the Player to snipe enemies for massive damage (as the specification needed to use this ability would suggest). Stealth mode will be cancelled as soon as the Player moves.

Values[ | ]

Skill points put into this skill will go towards reducing the cooldown of the skill as well as the speed at which the stealth mode is entered. Skill points put into this skill do not increase the rate at which mana points are regenerated.

QuestionMarkTrivia[ | ]

  • The skill's cooldown starts as soon as the skill is used, not when the Player leaves stealth; this means in certain situations the Player can use Aim, stay in stealth for as long as it takes to cooldown, leave stealth and then immediately use Aim again.
  • Aim is one of the only occurrences where the crosshair is changed upon activation of a skill.
