Deserts is a biome landscape in Cube World.
Deserts have a hot and dry climate with sandy dunes, pyramids, lava lakes, and oasis.
The main difference from most other landscapes is the lack of vegetation.
Desert Runners and Camel are exclusive to this biome.

Cacti[ | ]

Cacti are plants found occasionally in the Desert. They yield 1-3 Prickly Pears, which are useful in making the Cactus Potion. Cactus Potion can be made with Glass Flask without adding water.

There is a variant of a scrub that can only be found in hot biomes.

Desert City at night.
Oasis[ | ]
Oases are the only place besides Wells to find Water in this biome. They're also a good place to find Heartflowers and Mushrooms.
Pyramids are massive Dungeons in the Desert.
Forests can also appear in the Deserts.
In the Steam Version, water can be found almost anywhere except in the Lava Lands and Deadlands.
Trivia[ | ]
- The Temperature in Deserts can be around 36 °C and the Humidity around 5%.
- The color of the sand can vary. It can be either red, orange or yellow, much like the grass can change colors.
- The fact that the Nomads stay in the Ruins to guard them is ironic, since Nomads are travelers without a permanent settlement.
