In the current version of Cube World, the Wolf is unable to be tamed.
Trivia[ | ]
While the Wolf is unable to be tamed, it is possible to create a wolf in a pet cage via third party software and is considered mountable when done so. When the Wolf is mounted the player will hover about a block above the middle of the Wolf.
There is an at least 6 year old rumour that the Wolf can be tamed with an Apple Pie, however there is no such item anywhere within the game files, and as such this item can not be obtained with third party software, let alone legitimately.
